Overview of Upper Mustang Trek Itinerary

Our Upper Mustang Trek begins after we drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara and take a short flight to Jomsom. Then we set off towards Kagbeni, the entry point of the upper Mustang Region. Kagbeni is blessed with natural beauty and spectacular landscapes which the locals sometimes compare to heaven.

Following the banks of Kaligandaki River upstream via Chele, Syanbochen, Ghyami, and Charang, we reach the capital of Upper Mustang (Lo-Manthang). There are several thousand-year-old Buddhist monasteries like Lo-Gekar Gompa and Samye Gompa which are major attractions for trekkers in this region.
