After your arrival, during our initial days of the Daman Chitwan Tour, we first go sightseeing around culturally affluent Kathmandu valley. And drive towards Daman.

Daman is a small yet beautiful village nearby Kathmandu valley that gives us a chance to capture beautiful panoramas of the snow-capped Himalayas including the top of the world Everest. It is popular for mountain climbing, biking, visiting Tibetan Buddhist monasteries and Indra Sarobar shrines, etc. Daman is also a very popular short hiking destination among the locals, especially during winter when snowfalls.  Therefore Daman can be said as a perfect site for observing natural beauty, landscapes, Himalayas. And also a well-known pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists.

Continuing our Daman Chitwan Tour, further we drive towards Chitwan where we spend a night at Sauraha hotel with beautiful and relaxing sunset views. Next couple of days there will be plenty of wilderness exploring opportunities at Chitwan National Park. We go for jungle walks, bird-watching canoe trips, elephant safari, elephant bath, Tharu cultural dance, and many more. We also visit the elephant breeding center and return hotel for breakfast followed by a comfortable drive to Kathmandu. Detail Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive at Kathmandu::

As you arrive at Kathmandu and complete the formalities at the airport, our representative shall greet you outside the terminal and then transfer you to the hotel for your stay. If you are interested, you may wander around the streets of Thamel and nearby areas. Enjoy delicious cuisine and warm hospitality in Nepal. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2 : Kathmandu valley sightseeing::

After breakfast, we shall explore the palaces, monasteries, temples, and other heritages of Kathmandu valley. We pay our visit to Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred temples for the Hindus, located at the bank of the holy Bagmati River. With entrance restricted to the main temple for non-Hindus, Pashupatinath has a grand area with several temples, resting places, statues, the display of Hindu cremation, and experience of environment vibrant due to the rites and rituals by the devotees. Swayambhunath (also known as The Monkey Temple) and Boudhanath stupas are Buddhist pilgrimages. While the 2500 years old Swaymbhunath hosts whitewashed stupas, prayer wheels, a population of sacred monkeys, and a beautiful view of Kathmandu valley, Boudhanath Stupa proudly stand as one of the biggest stupas in the world. We shall also explore the historical Kathmandu Durbar Square with the royal palace, unique temples including the home of Goddess Kumari, the living goddess, and intricate carvings in the monuments. Day 3 : Kathmandu to Daman::

Our tour shall begin from today as we start our journey to Daman after breakfast. In a drive of around 3 hours, we shall travel through cascading hills, rural settlements, beautiful views of scenic landscapes, and colorful rhododendron forests. We reach Daman, located at the height of 2100m/7500ft, which is famous for the ultimate unimpeded and panoramic view of almost the entire Himalayan range. With authentic rural settlements and their lifestyle, Daman is undoubtedly one of the best tourist destinations in Nepal. Stay overnight in Daman.

Day 4 : Daman tour activities::

On one of the most beautiful days you will ever witness, today we shall explore the scenic Daman. We shall begin our day with a truly outstanding view of sunrise over the Himalayas including Everest, Annapurna, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Lhakpa Dorje, Gauri Shanker, Manaslu, Cho Oyu, and many more. The view tower provides a more extensive view of these peaks. Besides the scenic landscape, Daman is one of the most beautiful biking trails for enthusiasts. A Tibetan Monastery in about half an hour of walk is another site to explore which provides beautiful scenery and a glimpse of Buddhist culture and traditions. Walk to the nearby jungle for a cool and pleasant hike and explore the mountain climbing trails passing through the settlements. We shall end our day with a remarkable view of the golden sun over the Himalayas. This place is ideal for nature lovers and photographers who want to capture a perfect nature scene.

Day 5 : Daman to Chitwan::

After spending a wonderful time in the truly marvelous Daman, today we shall proceed ahead to one of the most visited destinations of Nepalese plains, the city of Chitawan. In a drive of four hours and a half, we shall reach our destination. You shall very well experience the change in weather and temperature as you reach this city at the foothills of Churiya hills. The home of Nepal’s first national park, Chitawan offers you a diversity of flora, fauna, and other touristic activities. Stay overnight in Chitawan at the Sauraha Hotel and relax with a sunset view.

Day 6 : Activities in Chitwan::

We shall today explore and enjoy the beautiful city of Chitawan which shall offer you diverse activities for your enjoyment. From Jungle walk in the shade of cool forest with various varieties of rare vegetation and beautiful lakes amidst them to the canoe trip in the Rapti River, you shall enjoy every bit of it. Go for Elephant Safari into the jungle of national park to watch the rare wildlife such as one-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, Deer, Sloth bear, wild boar, Leopard, and other small animals which have made the national park their habitation. During your canoe trip, you can watch varieties of birds and two rare species of crocodiles including the fish-eating Gharial. You may go for an additional jeep drive to further explore the scenic and lush environment of the sanctuary and have a bath on the back of majestic Elephants by the riverside. Besides, you can also watch the unique Tharu Dance (a dance by the local Tharu community). Wrap up your day with the beautiful sunset reflected upon the calm Rapti River. Stay overnight in Chitawan.

Day 7 : Morning goes to Elephant Breeding and back to Hotel have a Breakfast, relax and back to Kathmandu Hotel::

We shall begin our day with a drive to the Elephant Breeding Center, about 3 km west of Sauraha, Chitawan on the far side of Bhude Rapti River. You will be mesmerized while watching the interaction between mother and baby elephants, the use of trunks for multiple tasks (including covering themselves in the dust to ward off mosquitoes, scratching their back with a bamboo stick), playful baby elephants, and elephant carers preparing food for elephants. After watching these giant creatures and their lovely side, we shall return back to the hotel. After breakfast, we shall relax for some time and then head back to Kathmandu. Reach your hotel in Kathmandu after a drive of 4-5 hours from Chitawan. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 8 : Shopping and free time::

Today, you shall have free time all by yourself. Go for some souvenir shopping to the local markets of Thamel and nearby Ason, Indrachowk besides roaming around in the paved streets in the surrounding areas. Curio shops around Kathmandu Durbar Square and nearby areas are some of the most popular areas for shopping for antiques and other novel objects as a memory of your visit to this beautiful nation. Day 9 : Farewell Day::

The entertaining and enriching Daman Chitwan Tour comes to an end today. Our representative shall transfer you to the Tribhuwan International Airport as per your flight schedule to your onward destination and bid you goodbye.
