One Day Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour initiates as first we walk through the busy streets and head towards Kathmandu Durbar Square. This place was very much damaged by the April 25th earthquake but the tour lane has been separated. And you can still view the beauty that was badly shaken by a strong tremor. Nearby Kasthamandap and a few temples are rubble but the home of Living Goddess Kumari is still intact and you can visit the place. Also, this place is very popular among old-time Rock N’ Roll lovers and hippies. This is still famous as the “freak street”. Before marijuana and its products became illegal, this place was a paradise for hippies.

Next, after a short drive, we arrive at Swayambhunath Stupa, another world heritage site partially damaged by the earthquake. However the stupa does not have much damage, you can visit through the safe tour lane and have panoramic views of the city with some insights into Buddhism while visiting the nearby monastery and Buddha Park. Then we visit Pashupatinath Temple, the holiest pilgrimage site of Lord Shiva. This pilgrimage site allows us to view cremation rituals as well as insight into Hindu rituals, cultures, and traditions. Finally, we drive to the nearby Boudhanath stupa, believed to be the largest in Asia. The lighting ritual at dusk is spectacular and we visit cultural and architecturally beautiful monasteries over there at Boudhanath area.
