Trip introduction

Bardiya National Park was previously a prime hunting reserve for Royal families and was called Royal Bardiya National Park. Located in the far western region of Nepal on the bank of the Karnali River, it covers more than an area of 967 square kilometers making it rich in vegetation and home to various endangered floras and faunas.

Most of the National Park is covered with dense forest with a blend of grasslands. We get a chance to get inside the story of the wilderness as there are very high chances of spotting more than 642 faunas. Along with the popular Bengal tiger, rhinoceros, swamp deer, and Gangetic dolphin.  We start our Bardiya National Park Tour after your arrival and the next day’s cultural sightseeing around world heritage sites. Like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa. Then you have an option to fly to Nepalgunj and drive to Bardia or take only roadways all the way to Bardia from Kathmandu.

We will spend a couple of days exploring the natural wilderness of Bardia National Park. There will be lots of fun-filled activities like jungle safari and so on. Finally, we get back to Kathmandu and visit some more architecturally brilliant Patan, Bhaktapur city. And end this short and delightful visit to this National Park.

We can visit Bardiya National Park at any time of the year for all nature lovers and wilderness explorers. If you are looking forward to joining this trip then contact Nepal Mountain Trekkers now for booking and further inquiries. What our customers say about us

Fantastic Nepal Adventure

Namaste,

My daughter and I recently returned from a fantastic trip to Nepal where we trekked in the Himalayas to view Mount Everest, toured Katmandu and took a jeep safari in Bardhia National Park.

We highly recommend contacting Ramesh at Nepal Mountain Trekkers to assist you with coordinating and organizing your travel plans while in Nepal. Ramesh will customize your trip to your wishes and comfort levels before you arrive or when you arrive (with flexibility in mind). He will provide you with experienced guides for trekking and or sight seeing. We were so thankful to be greeted at the airport upon arrival knowing we had local people able to assist us with any questions and challenges that might arise. Ramesh and our guide Min were exceptional at this.

Ramesh and Min were not only very experienced and knowledgable with trekking but were also a wealth of information about the culture and customs in Nepal. They were kind, gracious, always made us feel safe along with having a sense of humour. We also very much appreciated our porter Harka who so graciously helped with carrying our personal items while trekking in the Himalayas.

The farewell lunch was a nice touch to end off an amazing trip.

Thank you
