Our Annapurna Base Camp Short Trek begins after you arrive in Kathmandu. And then catch a 30-minute flight to the beautiful lake city of Pokhara the very next day. During the first few days of this trek, we pass through beautiful landscapes, rhododendron forests, waterfalls, and culturally rich Gurung villages as we visit Jhinu Danda, Bamboo, Deurali, and Machhapuchre Base Camp. We finally reach Annapurna Base Camp at an altitude of 4,130 meters above sea level. As you arrive at Annapurna Base Camp, you will feel like you’ve entered into a different world; surrounded on all sides by beautiful Himalayan peaks. Then we follow the same route back towards Pokhara before flying to Kathmandu.

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)::
This is the beginning of this short yet adventurous and scenic trekking in one of the most diverse and popular trekking trails in Nepal. Complete the formalities in the immigration and you are welcomed and greeted by our representative. You shall then be transferred to the hotel of your stay in a private vehicle where you take rest for the remaining day as you will be tired by the long flight to Nepal from your respective places. Explore the immediate surroundings later in the day and go for some last-minute shopping if you need to. Also, get briefed by the trekking guide on the information required for the trekking and get yourself clarified on any queries related to the trek. Get prepared for the adventure beginning the following day. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2 : Kathmandu to Pokhara (823m/2,700ft): 5 - 6 hours drive::
Today we shall move on to the adventure hub of Nepal and one of the most beautiful cities, the beautiful Pokhara on a scenic drive. Eye-dazzling view of the lush valleys and green hills, terraced landscape, and serpentine rivers, and picturesque landscape of the Pokhara valley is an enchanting experience for travelers. The beautiful valley welcomes you with the sight of glittering mountains, a picturesque landscape with several lakes of the valley, and a cool climate. After landing at the airport you will be escorted to the hotel of your stay. Explore the bustling area of Lakeside which seems to embrace all the aspects of modern life with open arms while also supporting the traditional heritages through artifacts and related souvenirs. Day 3 : Pokhara to Jhinu Danda (1,760m/5,770ft) via Nayapul(1,070m/3,510ft): 2 and half hours drive and 3 hours trek::
Today we shall start the trek in this beautiful landscape with the trek to the spot famous for natural hot water spring, the settlement of Jhinu Danda. The trek shall start with the drive to the hub of Nayapul which serves as the beginning point of the treks in the Annapurna region. This drive of around an hour and a half shall take us through the remote settlements, accompanied by torrential rivers, temples, and the sight of mountains overlooking the entire journey. After reaching Nayapul, we shall trek to Jhinu Danda along the Modi River. Trekking to the northern direction we shall have a gradual ascent past the small settlement of Chandrakot and traversing along the trail accompanied by the Modi River to the left and turn rightward to reach little ahead of the settlement of Pritam Deurali. After trekking through the flagstone steps near Tolga we descent ahead to the Landruk village past suspension bridge, religious monuments, and smaller settlements. Turning left trekking a little ahead to cross a bridge we have an uphill climb closely along the Modi River and descent to the confluence of Modi River and Kimrong River and ascend gently to reach the destination of Jhinu Danda. We shall also explore the natural hot springs at the base of the ridge. Overnight in Jhinu Danda.
Day 4 : Jhinu Danda to Bamboo (2,310m/7,578ft): 5-6 hours::
This trek of around 6 hours begins with the trek ahead of Jhinu Danda through the terraces in a steep trek till we reach the settlement of Chhomrong village past the village of Nayagaon. Ahead we trek across the Chhomrong River after trekking down on a stone staircase after which we climb to the ridge above the Modi River. Traversing through the bamboo forest and terraced fields, smaller settlements, and on a rough trail we reach the Siruwa village. Further ahead in the trail we pass through the bamboo forest to Kuldighar, once the place for the sheep breeding project, and after a long descent through the rhododendron and bamboo forest we reach the settlement of Bamboo. The later section of the trek is a rather steep section of marching. Trekkers generally trek a little further to the bamboo lodge for an overnight stay. Overnight in Bamboo.
Day 5 : Bamboo to Deurali (3,230m/10,595ft): 3 - 4 hours::
Today we shall have a short trek so as to prepare ourselves for the ascent to the Annapurna Base Camp. The trek shall begin with crossing over a stream which shall lead us in a trail with a gradual climb past the rhododendron and oak forest to reach the small town of Dovan. After trekking on some steep sections and crossing the waterfall we reach the Himalaya hotel. The trail opens up to the outstanding view of the Modi River and the surrounding landscape. On a steep trail, we march ahead to the Hinku cave from where the sight of Deurali village is visible. The ascent on this section of the trail continues as we reach the village of Deurali after trekking for around 45 minutes. Intermittently we also notice that the vegetation becomes sparser and the terrain becomes rockier with increased difficulty. Overnight in Deurali.
Day 6 : Deurali to Annapurana Base Camp (4,130m/13,545ft) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m/12,135ft): 5- 6 hours::
The climax of this trekking adventure in the Annapurna region is in store for the trekkers today as we reach the Annapurna Base Camp through the Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Starting with the gentle climb over a steep trail we trail past the settlement of Bagar after which the strenuous terrain continues on to the stoppage of Machhapuchhre base camp. From here we have the view of Fishtail Mountain along with peaks of Hiuchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gagapurna, and several others. We branch away from the Modi River where the vegetation becomes sparse and the path widens as we turn right towards the base camp of Annapurna. On reaching the base camp we have the view of towering Annapurna without anything disturbing the marvelous sight. Savoring the mesmerizing views of the humongous Himalayas we have an overnight stay in one of the most amazing spots in this entire trekking expedition. Overnight in Annapurna Base Camp.
Day 7 : Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo: 7 - 8 hours::
Today we shall leave the mesmerizing landscape view in the foothills of majestic Annapurna Mountain and make a return trip to the settlement of Bamboo. We join the trail section accompanied by the Modi River in a relatively easier trail as we have a downhill march. In this section of our trekking, we shall begin our day with the exceptionally beautiful sunrise over the Himalayas. Joining the company of Modi River we shall pass the area prone to avalanche, the settlements of Dovan and Deurali, rhododendron, and bamboo forest at the lower elevations and through a wooden bridge before we reach the settlement of Bamboo. Overnight in Bamboo.
Day 8 : Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1,760m/5,770 ft): 5 - 6 hours::
The trekking of today takes us around 6 hours. We retrace the same trail which we covered on our trek to the Annapurna base camp. We shall start the trek with an uphill climb to the Khuldighar village which hosts a helipad and further ahead along a twisting and turning trail to the Sinuwa village. Ahead of the village of Sinuwa, we pass through settlements of Tilche and Chhomrong past a bridge and steep stone steps to reach the Taulung village, a village that has a trail junction leading to Landruk, to Tadhapani, and to Kot Danda. After about an hour trekkers reach the destination of Jhinu Danda. You may explore the surroundings and get relaxed in the hot water of the natural springs of this place. Overnight in Jhinu Danda.
Day 9 : Jhinu Danda to Pokhara(823m/2,700ft): 5-6 hours::
With the view of the Himalayas and lush hills overlooking the trail, we trek down from Jhinu Danda down to the Modi Khola valley following through the way via New Bridge. With the sight of rivers flowing in a serpentine shape and trekking on a stone staircase, along with the trail on the hillside, past farms with crops harvest, wooden and suspension bridges, and traditional houses gradually leading to the lower elevations with wider valley and larger fields we continue along the trail. The sight of the mountain is always there to accompany us besides the greenery, cultivation, and lush hills and valleys as we reach Nayapool marking the end of our physical trekking. After this point, we shall drive to the beautiful lake city of Pokhara. Time remaining you shall explore the natural amphitheater of Pokhara, the Phewa Lake, and the bustling Lake Side. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 10 : Pokhara to Kathmandu: 5 - 6 hours drive::
We shall leave the trekking destination in the Annapurna region as we drive back from the Pokhara valley in a scenic drive of about 5-6 hours. Savoring the view of the majestic Himalayas, hills, and valleys, terraced fields, and the vast landscape we reach the medieval capital city of Kathmandu. We shall move to the hotel of our stay. Time remaining you may also go for souvenir shopping for carrying with you some memories for your loved ones back to your native place. Explore the stone-paved areas of the royal palace of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the busy streets of Thamel, and the surrounding areas. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 11 : Departure Day::
This marks the official end to the short yet enriching trek to one of the most popular trekking destinations in the world. You shall be transferred to the Tribhuvan International Airport at least three hours prior to the flight scheduled for your onward destination.
