Trip introduction

Ghale Gaun Homestay is the most popular homestay trekking in Nepal that gives us a chance to explore Gurung culture and traditions. And learn about their lifestyle and help to develop the local community. We will be staying at local homes during our trek. And visit the major attractions around the area which exhibit landscape views and panoramic views of great snow-capped mountains.

We initiate Ghale Gaun Homestay after you arrive at Kathmandu airport and transfer to the Hotel. Then we embark on sightseeing around UNESCO world heritage sites in Kathmandu Valley. After completing a day tour around the capital city, we drive to Khudi on a private vehicle from where we start our trekking activity towards Ghale Gaun. Ghale Gaun is a Gurung village where we will be welcomed with garland and red tika with great hospitality following local culture and tradition.

We stay overnight at one of the local homes where we get to taste local cuisines. And will be treated as a single family. Living at typical Gurung houses made up of stones, and enjoying cultural dances at campfire would create an authentic Nepali village atmosphere at Ghale Gaun. During our Ghale Gaun Homestay, we also explore the local village. Hike to nearby viewpoints for great views of Himalayan peaks like Annapurna, Himchuli, Mt. Manaslu, and other peaks. Finally, with a heavy heart, we say goodbye to locals and end our Ghale Gaun Trekking by driving towards Kathmandu

Join Ghale Gaun Homestay Trek in 2024 with Nepal Mountain Trekkers for an unforgettable rewarding journey.
