The next day, we will either drive 4 to 5 hours; or catch a 20 min flight to arrive at Chitwan. Initially, we visit Tharu village which is a nice way to be familiar with local traditions and cultures. There will be a campfire, Tharu dance, and other cultural programs arranged in a professional manner. With a warm sunset view from the riverbank, we get ready for the next day’s wilderness activities. The highlights of Chitwan are that it welcomes everyone to experience its natural wild richness on jungle walks, canoe trips, and elephant safari. Bird watching and spotting endangered floras and faunas are other specialties of the Chitwan trip.

Lumbini and journey to Pokhara via Palpa

We also visit the elephant breeding center for a day before we leave behind Chitwan. And make our way towards Lumbini. Lumbini is the holy pilgrimage site where Lord Gautam Buddha was born. During our Lumbini tour, we visit the Mayadevi temple, the Lumbini garden. And the different monasteries built by different countries give us peaceful insights into the land; where the symbol of world peace, Lord Buddha and Buddhism was originated. In this way, we further head towards a historical place of Palpa from where great mountain views are noteworthy. During the course, we also visit the popular Rani Mahal, Amar Narayan Temple, Tansen Durbar, Shitalpati, Bhagwati temple, Amargunj Ganesh, and a nice view from the hotel. Then we leave for beautiful Pokhara valley.

Visit Pokhara

We spend a couple of days at Pokhara in which we will not miss any major attractions around. From boating, fishing at Phewa lake, visit Bindabasini Temple, Peace pagoda, Barahi temple, David’s fall, bat cave, Mahendra cave, mountain museum and if you say then even embark for some adventures like paragliding, ultra-light flight, zip flying, and bungee jumping. We also visit the Begnas lake and head towards the Kathmandu valley.  After arriving at Kathmandu, the cultural exploration around UNESCO world heritage sites will continue with a short visit to nearby Bhaktapur and Nagarkot hill.
