The best two trips of my life, thanks to Nepal Mountain Trekkers

My first trip to Nepal was in 2010, I contacted with Mr Ramesh Dhakal in Thamel and had a great impression; I asked about the activities I wanted to do (Everest Base Camp trek, Annapurna trek, cultural visits to the cities in Kathmandu Valley, sports…). Ramesh explained to me very kindly about all these activities, very deeply, with all the recomendations about the gear, the food, the guide, and made feel very safe, so I felt convinced about doing the activities with the company and no soloing. He told me a very important thing to me: “Here in Nepal we are happy if you are happy, because if you are happy you´ll come back. We are not interested in cheating people in any means”. We discussed the prices and never felt cheated. After that I met my guide Min Nepali, who was with me almost the entire tiem I spent in Nepal, and we became best friends. Ramesh and Min are really wonderful people, taught me a lot and more about Nepal, the nature, the people, the cities, and moreover with their attitude I learned the beatiful people that are Nepali peoples. Also Mr Devaraj Dhakal, the manager of the hotel the company runs, and all the staff made my journey an experience to remember. From temples to jungle to mountain passes (Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Region, Chitwan, Helambu route, Kathmandu, Bakthapur, Patan, bungee jumping, elefant riding…).

And after that…

From that trip I fell in love with Nepal, so in March 2015 I came back to Nepal with my wife, and of course we contacted Ramesh again. We did the Everest Base Camp route with Min Nepali again, this time more than a guide, he was a brother to us. Never felt treated so well. This time my wife also fell in love with Nepal.

From my experience, if you go to Nepal don´t doubt to contact Nepal Mountain Trekkers. Ramesh Dhakal and his staff will make the very best to make your trip a wonderful experience.

Fantastic trip!

Went to Nepal for a few days on the way back to the UAE from India. Weren’t sure what to do as we only had a few days but we wanted to see a lot of different areas. My friend got in touch with this company and I have to say they were absolutely amazing. Looked after my friends and I so well and for a reasonable price. Got to see all over Nepal and even had our own personalised driver. Ramesh was also so friendly and made sure we felt so welcome. If you are looking for a guide for Nepal I would highly recommend this company.

I have been coming to Nepal since 2012 and on each visit Nepal Mountain Trekkers have been extremely helpful. Devaraj and Ramesh have always made me feel welcome when I return and go out of their way to make every trip memorable. I would recommend the Annapurna trek – it’s the most beautiful trek I have ever been on and, although parts are strenuous, is suitable for all abilities. Having a knowledgable helpful guide made it perfect. Hotel Horizon has become a home from home for me over the years and I look forward to returning there

Tamang Heritage Trail, Langtang, Gosainkund, Helambu

In november 2015 we met Mr. Ramesh Dhakal and our guide Daljit at the Horizon Hotel in Thamel Kathmandu. They are very friendly persons, like friends and we went on tour with Daljit and my husband, so we were three of us. We were 3 weeks on tour and had a great time with our guide. The lodges and whole trip was very good organized and with Daljit we had the advantage to learn a lot about Nepal and the Nepali’s. We went in the houses, enjoyed family life and he showed us the most beautiful spots.We can recommend this organisation 110%. Enjoy!

Memorable Annapurna Sanctuary Trek

This was our first time (females, mid-20s) in Nepal and with trekking in general so we felt very overwhelmed. I mean, with travel agencies everywhere you look it’s hard not to be! Luckily, Nepal Mountain Trekker’s office was right beside our place of accommodation, Hotel Horizon. We were on a budget so we decided to only hire a guide for peace of mind. We got SO much more out of it then we could have imagined! The manager – Mr. Ramesh Dhakal, was very helpful in accommodating our needs and budget. He answered every concern we had and referred us to our guide, Min Bahadur. Min really made our experience during the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek memorable! There was no language barrier and Min always made sure we were safe and comfortable (i.e. checking our rental equipment, helping us bargain, making sure we ate well, motivating us, the list goes on). We cannot express how fortunate we felt! I would recommend this service which we found to be very honest and worthwhile and our guide for anyone planning to visit Nepal! Take care!

My 5th experiance in Nepal

After seeing some excellent reviews on Trip Advisor, we booked our 18 days Sagarmatha Trekking package with Nepal Mountain Trekkers.
The team of company came to T.I.A for us received us on the evening and took us on the hotel horizen thamel and from the 2nd day we start our packing for adventure trekking with my 9 friends for 18 days, From the begging i had noticed this tour goona be one of the most adventure tour since, at the end too i felt my heart was not wrong.

Thanks Nepal Mountain Trekkers team, our guide and porters. A tour company for respect. Hope to see you again on 2017/18.

Fun and well organized trip

The Manager – Suman – is such a delightful man. He took care of us, he explained everything and answered all our questions. Whatever we asked for, we got and he treated us like a friend. Thank you for the amazing experience and we will be back!

Annapurna Circuit 12 days

I met Mr. Suman Gurung last time I was in Nepal in 2014. At that time he organized a tour around the country for me and my girlfriend but we didn’t do any trekking. We agreed to plan it for the next visit and it happened this year. I addressed Mr. Suman Gurung in prior to book my trekking. Trekking was a bit hard physically but fulfilled with a lots of fun, good lessons and gorgeous views of the nature. My guide Mr. Gurung proved to be an expert and proficient in his job. I highly recommend you to do trekking with him.

The trek was just perfect. Mr. Ramesh Dhakal is a very friendly and helpful guide with perfect english. His hotel Horizon is berfect base for all kind of treks.

we was in nepal 2015 Dec. It was relay nice holiday our. We did trekking with mr. Dhakal Shakal. He is very nice and kind guide. He make our holiday very memeriable. We did 7 days baseri home stay trekkong.
