Nepal Mountain Trekkers – bespoke trek Muktinath to Pokhara

Truly amazing trek based on my previous experience to many little visited areas & with minimal use of roads . Our guide TB was clearly very experienced, & very accommodating of our bespoke itinerary & slower pace for two mature ladies. He was very tolerant & seemed to enjoy aspects of our trek which took us to many areas with spectacular scenery & few or no tourists. TB was so versatile that he “borrowed” kitchens & supplies in villages to whip up lunch when we found ourselves in places with no lodges. He also understood that we were keen to stay in lodges with optimum views. Our 2 porters Sunil & Sudip were a real bonus – both spoke English & were unfailingly helpful & good natured. I have done many Nepali treks & it is unusual to find such a good crew. Ramesh was always prompt in answering my questions whilst planning the trek from London.

Great experience!!

I did the Gokyo Ri trek and it was amazing!! They took care of every detail since I arrived at the airport. Krishna was the best guide, always asking how I was doing, making sure I was comfortable in every tea house we stayed in and during the trek. If I come back for another trek in Nepal I will choose Nepal Mountain Trekkers again, for sure!

We had an excellent trip with Nepal Mountain Trekkers. They were really helpful and took plenty of time to discuss the perfectly individual trek with us in advance. Even during the trip we were always able to make adjustments depending on how we felt. Our guide TB was always friendly, entertaining and knew the area very well. Even after the trek in the afternoon he showed us the monasteries and explained the religions to us. When we did not feel well, he bought medication for us. He always took care of us, asked whether we needed additional blankets during the night, whether we wanted some tea in the afternoon and was flexible when to start the trek in the morning etc. His motto was: “Everything is possible.” Thank you very much for everything again!

Friendly and helpful, I had a great time!

Very helpful and informative in helping me book the right trek . I only did a short trek . Shivapuri, Chisapani, Nagarkot and Changunanrayan. It was the perfect trek for my short trip. Nice to get out of the city and see how people live. Very peaceful and relaxing walking all day. My guide was great. My only regret is not planning a longer trip and being able to do more trekking. But now I know where to go next time and will definitely use NMT again. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Thanks so much and see you next year

it was our third time in Nepal, third trek with Nepal Mountain Trekkers and I hope not the last one. Ramesh, as always, organised our itinerary for our tiny group based on the amount of time that we had. This included a personal airport pickup, our return flights to and from Lukla, a guide and two porters for us, and also our accomodation in Kathmandu before and after our trek.

This time we did the Three Passes Trek, which is said to be the most demanding in the area. Our guide, TB, was always happy to tell us the names of all the peaks and villages we could see. When we reached our destination each night he was always busy organising our meals, cups of tea, making sure our drink bottles were filled and that we were happy and healthy. He’s a very polite, caring and experienced guide, with great English skills, who we’d definitely request for our next Himalayan experience and would certainly recommend to anyone else too. He took perfect care of us so we felt safe and could focus on experiencing the beauty of the majestic mountains.

We cannot express how satisfied and impressed we were with this company again; a well run, honest business that really care for the customer’s experience and safety. Nepal Mountain Trekkers allowed us to choose our own start and end date and plan the trek each day with no fixed or locked in agenda. This type of flexibility is something that you do not get in large group tours. It was our own private tour without the private tour price.

Friendly company to deal with and very attentive to details.

Suman has lots of experience and can organise trips anywhere in Nepal for beginners right through to high altitude treks. Chirring (the guide on my trek in Manaslu) was fantastic..very supportive and patient with me – it was a pleasure trekking with him. I definitely recommend using this company. I also recommend the hotel next door (Hotel Green Horizon), which is good value and has friendly staff.
