The Manaslu Trekking region lies to the east of the Annapurna region and receives few visitors making this region less explored; leaving the local culture more or less intact. The major highlights of this trekking would be the chance to explore the culture, traditions, and lifestyle of local inhabitants. Particularly Tamangs, Gurungs, and people of Tibetan origin at higher elevations. The most popular pilgrimage site in the region would be the Manakamana temple which holds great importance for the Nepalese.
