Trip introduction

Ghandruk Trek is short and easy trekking in Nepal holiday at the popular Annapurna region for family trekking with kids and the elderly. This trek offers spectacular views of the Annapurna Himalayas with a deep insight into local Gurung cultures and traditions.

We can also spot various flora and fauna along the trail. This trek is also popular as Ghandruk homestay trekking or Ghandruk cultural trekking since most of the trekkers appreciate such treks in Ghandruk. However, this trek is completely customizable according to the requirements of tourists.

Overview of Ghandruk Trek

Ghandruk Trek initiates the next day as you arrive at Kathmandu Valley and drive towards Naudanda via Pokhara. The next day short drive to Nayapul from where we will start our trekking towards the beautiful and culturally rich authentic Gurung village of Ghandruk. Ghandruk offers fabulous views of the Annapurna Himalayan Ranges, especially during sunrise and sunset.

Another notable thing about this trek is that the village still holds the charm of authenticity. The houses built of stone and mud give a feeling of real raw traveling. Then we trek along with another beautiful village of Landruk passing through popular viewpoints of Tolka and Dhampus. At Dhampus, we visit for more spectacular views and villages. Finally, we descend towards Phedi and drive back to Kathmandu.

CLIENTS REVIEW

What our customers say about us

Great service, worth the price

My friend and I wanted to do a short trek because we’re a bit out of shape so Ramesh suggested the Ghandruk loop and we were not disappointed. It was just the right amount of physical activity. The views were wonderful and the lodges clean and each of them offered good food and hot water. The villages were authentic and small. Our guide (Sabin) was amazing. He told us everything we asked about Nepal and the mountains and was very helpful when on the last day my friend got sick. He also had many recommendations for what to do in Pokhara. I definitely recommend this trekking agency.

Fantastic trip!

Went to Nepal for a few days on the way back to the UAE from India. Weren’t sure what to do as we only had a few days but we wanted to see a lot of different areas. My friend got in touch with this company and I have to say they were absolutely amazing. Looked after my friends and I so well and for a reasonable price. Got to see all over Nepal and even had our own personalised driver. Ramesh was also so friendly and made sure we felt so welcome. If you are looking for a guide for Nepal I would highly recommend this company.
