Annapurna trek (Poon Hill, Ghandruk and Dhampus)

I had an adventure of a life time in Nepal with Nepal Mountain Trekkers. The company was very professional and their staff were amazing especially Suman Gurung our guide. Suman was outstanding. I highly recommend this company to you

Fantastic, highly recommended

We did a 2 weeks Manaslu trek with Min and Rojan, and it was a truly fantastic experience. Min was professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. Min shared a lot about Nepal history and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, well acclimatised, and not to mention, very well fed! If you are looking for a best in class trekking guide in Nepal, this is the right company to do it with.

Manaslu Circuit Trek (18 April – 1 May 2019)

We had an enjoyable 14-day trek with Min as our guide and Rojan as our porter.

Special mention to Min who went out of his way – he was helpful and responsive during the planning of the trek and when we started the trek, he took great care of us both in terms of safety and comfort (he knows the teahouses with great food!). Through him, I learnt alot about the mountains and the history of Nepal – some of the many topics that Min is knowledgeable on, which makes me appreciate the trek even more. As both my friend and I were doing a high-altitude trek for the first time , I also appreciate Min setting a good pace and providing great advice on how to deal with the high altitude.

All-in-all, I really enjoyed the trek and will definitely recommend Nepal Mountain Trekkers with Min as a guide for a Nepal trekking trip.

The mystical of the Nepalese Dipawali and the hidden wonderland Bhutan

I met Ramesh Dhakal 4 years ago when I was looking for a hotel. His clean travel agency “Nepal Mountain Trekkers” and his businesslike behavior left a very good impression on me. He also recommended the Hotel Horizon, which stands right behind his office. We sometimes had tea together and I told him about my previous trekks in Nepal in 1978.
I decided then, despite the high price to make a Bhutan tour, as a gift for my pension. As the Dipawali party approached, the appointment was very close, but Ramesh did everything to make the impossible come true. In Paro I was picked up by a driver at the airport. He was driver as well as guide and took me to all the sights. These were many Buddhist temples, monasteries and of course the well-known Paro-Taktsang monastery (Tiger’s nest) on a rock. The beautiful houses and the gentle landscapes had a special appeal. The guide was very friendly and spoke good English. The hotels were very good and the flight along the many mountains an experience. Back in Kathmandu I was driven back to the Hotel Horizon.
In November, the big, colorful Hindu festival Dipawali (Festival of Lights) took place. I celebrated this first at the hotel with the staff and Ramesh. The entrances were decorated with a colorful circle of powder and a string of lights made of oil lamps and candles showed the way into the house. Later, I celebrated at home with Ramesh and his family. His sisters painted a multicolored Tika on our foreheads and decorated us with garlands. After that we exchanged small presents. That was something very special and remains unforgettable. It was almost like Christmas with all the happy people on the streets.
I highly recommend Ramesh Dhakal with “Nepal Mountain Trekkers” and his people. They are all well trained and very friendly. Also the hotel Horizon was good

Great experience doing ABC Trekking with NMTrekkers

Since my first email to NMTrekkers until the last day I am in Nepal, NMTrekkers has provided me and my friend a very good experience.

Ramesh helped me to sort out my trekking itinerary and answered my questions promptly, weeks before my arrival in Nepal through emails.

Our guide for ABC Trek is Pralad, a gentleman with good command of English. There is no problem in our communication and plus, he can speak Bahasa Malaysia quite well. Pralad is knowlegeable on the general history of Nepal, about the local cultures and the safety precautions that we have to be aware of during our trek. We are very satisfied and I highly recommend him for trekking activities.

Due to bad weather, we are unable to trek to Poon Hill and to finish the ABC trek but still, NMTrekkers managed to adjust our itinerary to fill the remaining days.

Kudos to NMTrekkers!

Annapurna Base Camp

Namaste NMTrekker,

Generally speaking, this company has shown a very good enthusiasm in organising and making the best out for me and my friend..

It’s been the first time for the two of us visited Nepal and do trekking through ABC, and all went smoothtly since day 1..

Yes, a little dissapointment hit us when we are not able to reach Poon Hill and ABC as per our itinerary.. Nature is unpredictable.. That is what I can say.. Heavy snow stops us from doing so.. Above all, we are happy and still enjoyed the breathtaking views along the trekking period..

Plus, we are accompanied by an excellent guide named Pralad.. He was the best for us as he can speaks in many languages (Nepal, English, as well as Malay), and also has good trekking knowledges and warmth approach.. We got a lot of information about trekking tips and also the culture of Nepal through him..

We wished we had another time with NMTrekker to complete the ABC trekking or Annapurna Circuit Trekking in the future.. Nepal is a wonderful country and make us feel relax while trekking..

Really hope we can come accross again in other time.. We are looking forward to your good services..

Good vibes only

Done the Poon Hill trek with the help of Min and Tn.
They were of great help just everytime and they had the solution for everything. Also, Min had a great knowledge that helped the three of us learning more about Nepal during the days we spent together. Really nothing bad to say. I just thank them as we could really enjoy the trek, which is just great.
Nepal Mountain Trekkers owner, Ramesh, also helped us planning our days and organized for us other activities. Ask him for assistance if you need some.
Just a note: don’t go to Chitwan to ride elephants and make sure to pick a good place over there, ours was terrible.

A big thank again to Ramesh, Min and Tn!
