You must prepare having enough clothes, the sherpa will help you out a lot on the journey.

Nepal Mountain Trekkers was a great company to work with.

I traveled to Nepal for about 10 days on my own.

Leading up the trip, the communication via email was excellent and they helped create an itinerary that fit my schedule.

When I arrived, the staff was very attentive and generous. The manager on site and my trekking guide were excellent.

The hotel is located in Thamel but is tucked away off the Main Street. It is mostly quiet which is good because I go to bed early.

The included breakfast was a nice way to start the day.

If I return, I would stay here again. Thank you!

An unforgettable experience in Nepal !

3 weeks we were traveling – and it was a wonderful experience!
Our destination was the Rolwaling trek over the difficult Tashi Lhapsa pass with the option of climbing the 6000 Parchamo.
When choosing the trekking agency, it was important for us to travel without German or Austrian “intermediaries”, but to book directly on site. And so we came across the website of Nepal Mountain Trekkers and had a very sympathetic contact with Ramesh, the boss, right from the first email inquiry. All our questions and requests for changes were warmly and patiently received and implemented.
The trip itself was perfectly organized from the airport pickup, via the central but very quiet Green Horizon Hotel, to the return flight from Lukla. Due to the many tent camps and the alpine challenges (ropes etc.) we had 5 porters, a cook (Sonam) and a guide (Ngatar).
The tour itself was indescribably beautiful, the porters incredible and Sonam and Ngatar always on hand when the porters had to be secured when crossing the pass.
Unfortunately we had to skip the summit due to complete icing (blue ice), but there was no deficit at all.
Since we were relatively fast, we had 5 days left, which we use as a couple to walk to Gokyo Ri and watch Everest & Co in the best weather. And here we were grateful for the incredible flexibility of Ramesh and his team: We said goodbye to the porters, Sonam and Ngatar, on an emotional dhal-bat evening and headed to Gokyo. We got the money we had saved in lodge and other costs from the brisk Rolwaling crossing and had wonderful two days before flying back from Lukla to Kathmandu.

We can only warmly and heartily recommend Nepal Mountain Trekkers for your next Nepal trip. This organization is actually different from the others: You feel the warmth and desire to make everything possible. The value for money is incredible and there is a company philosophy that is measured by customer satisfaction and never by pecuniary criteria.

Our guide Mod was amazing, all the time with he’s good vibe and very professional always smiling and taking care of everything !

Great Trip to Manaslu Circuit with Tsum Valley

We traveled the Manaslu Circuit and the Tsum Valley with Nepal Mountain Trekkers – an unforgettable experience! The planning beforehand was excellent, and the entire service during the tour was professional, friendly, and perfectly organized. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and led us safely and with great knowledge through the impressive landscape. We felt well looked after at all times. We definitely recommend them – we would book with Nepal Mountain Trekkers again anytime!

Much to see for only 3days

Fantastik views on the Anapurna massiv on the trekk, peaceful at accomodation places,good food at villages we went through, hjelpful guide.

Poonhilltrek

I already planned my trip last year. I wanted to hike alone without a group only with guide and porter, at my pace. On the net I came across Nepal Mountain Trekkers and they offered just that. I decided to do a moderate tour due to a knee injury. Der Everest Culture Sherpa Tour. All questions were answered reliably and quickly by e-mail and my tour was adapted according to my travel time and wishes.

Despite the great efforts of my guide Sujan, the flight to Lukla did not work out due to bad weather conditions and so we decided to go for the Poonhilltrek. Was a suggestion of the agency, flight and everything else was organized immediately without any problems. Throughout the trek I was superbly looked after, rebuked and looked after by Sujan and the Porter Bibi. The food was always excellent, the accommodations selected by Sujan flawless. Sujan, realizing with his calm, friendly manner when it was time for a break (he would have easily made the trek in half the time), answered my many questions competently and always preceded with cheerful buzzes. Even though they were always there somehow, they gave me time for myself.

On the Poonhill itself we had no visibility (but a good coffee) but we were later rewarded with a spectacular view of Anapurna, fishtail etc. and had a really good time. I didn’t miss anything except a murder muscle soreness from the descent.😃

I can highly recommend the agency and will definitely come back to go my originally planned trek, then hopefully again with Sujan.

Powerful experience – perfectly organized by Suman

My visit to Dakshinkali Temple was unforgettable. The atmosphere during the rituals is intense and spiritual. Suman organized everything flawlessly, and my guide Modnath was incredibly knowledgeable and made it possible to access and understand everything at the key spots. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a deeper cultural experience.

Wonderful time in Nepal !

We had a very good time in Nepal thanks to Nepal Mountain Trekkers and our guide Manu. Everything was well organized and we could enjoy a trip outside busy trek road. I definitely recommend it !
