Langtang with the best guide

Langtang for 7 days. We loved the nature. One is hiking from normal forests, through bamboo forests, up to scrubs and glaciers. Our guide was excellent he explained us a lot about flora & fauna. He also organized the bus, permit, lunch places etc. We (just) had to hike. The hike includes a lot of uphill stretches, so go slowly.
We can really recommend the company and our guide Mod Nath.

Annapurna Circuit Trek – just amazing!!

It was our first experience with the Himalayas and certainly not the last one! Everything was professionally organized, from picking us up from the airport, through all transport during our stay, accommodation, meals, trekking organization and much more.
Our guide, Shiva, made sure that everything was perfect, he had amazing experience which he shared with us during the expedition and thanks to our porter, Durba, we didn’t have to worry about our equipment, he was reliable and we could count on him everyday.
We definitely recommend taking advantage of an organized trip, thanks to which we could enjoy the beauty of nature, focus on the trip itself and not worry about organizing every little thing (and believe me, there is a lot of that during such a trip). We felt taken care of but at the same time we had a lot of privacy, which made us feel a bit like we were on an independent trip. We highly recommend it!!

Upper Mustang horse riding, mountain biking and walking trek. Amazing.

Ramesh and Suman at NMT and Green Horizon Hotel were amazing and very very helpful. They arranged a combination trip of horse riding and mountain biking to Upper Mustang. This worked out fantastically for all of us and our guide TB couldn’t have been more helpful. We also had a back up jeep which made the whole experience much more enjoyable. Both the horses and mountain bikes were great and I would definitely advise horse riding, if you are an experienced horse rider. Though some of our party had some health issues, these were sorted out immediately and the trek continued for the others. A fantastic, professional and very friendly company.

An Experience of the Lifetime with the Best Trekking Service and Guide

What an absolutely amazing experience in the Mustang Valley with Nepal Mountain Trekkers on a family trip with my two daughters, sister and 67-year-old mother. We have to thank Ramesh, Sumar , and especially, our guide Min, for putting together a fantastic trip that while never easy was was everything we could have hoped for and more. If anyone is planning a trip to Nepal, stop looking for other guide services. You have found the perfect one. From the moment I connected on email, Ramesh was clear with everything, listened to our special requests and made adjustments as necessary. If he is not booked up already, request Min for your guide. Beyond his first-rate guide skills, Min is a beautiful human being that made everyone comfortable and happy on the trip. Thank you again Nepal Mountain Trekkers!!!

Best trekking experience ever!

My family and I had the most amazing time exploring the Upper Mustang Valley with this trekking company. Everything was planned out perfectly, with backup plans for when things inevitably went awry. We truly could not have asked for a better experience.

Upon arrival to Hotel Green Horizon, we were greeted with open arms. There was never a moment where we doubted the quality of care we had been put under. During our stay at each end in this hotel, we enjoyed lovely meals (certainly a step above your typical hotel cuisine – my family members were all fans of the momos) and lovely accommodations in this quiet city oasis. The rooms were clean and air conditioned, and the showers were hot. We had access to plenty of seating outdoors, which we took full advantage of.

When it came to flights, taxi services, jeep rides, and any other transportation that was needed, everything was taken care of. We always arrived where we needed to be in a timely manner, there was never any stress or rushing involved. When our flight from Jomson to Pokhara was cancelled at the end of our trek, we had a jeep almost immediately lined up for us.

During the trek itself, we were provided with the most incredible guide in the world, Min. If you ever book with this company, be sure to request Min specifically! He made our trek an absolute blast. We truly could not have done any of it without him.

Nepal Mountain Trekkers – bespoke trek Muktinath to Pokhara

Truly amazing trek based on my previous experience to many little visited areas & with minimal use of roads . Our guide TB was clearly very experienced, & very accommodating of our bespoke itinerary & slower pace for two mature ladies. He was very tolerant & seemed to enjoy aspects of our trek which took us to many areas with spectacular scenery & few or no tourists. TB was so versatile that he “borrowed” kitchens & supplies in villages to whip up lunch when we found ourselves in places with no lodges. He also understood that we were keen to stay in lodges with optimum views. Our 2 porters Sunil & Sudip were a real bonus – both spoke English & were unfailingly helpful & good natured. I have done many Nepali treks & it is unusual to find such a good crew. Ramesh was always prompt in answering my questions whilst planning the trek from London.

Great experience!!

I did the Gokyo Ri trek and it was amazing!! They took care of every detail since I arrived at the airport. Krishna was the best guide, always asking how I was doing, making sure I was comfortable in every tea house we stayed in and during the trek. If I come back for another trek in Nepal I will choose Nepal Mountain Trekkers again, for sure!
