Gokyo lakes with Nepal Hiking team

Great trek.
Many people, mules, and dzopke the first two days to go to Namche Bazaar as lot of people are going to Everest base camp, but after that we see very few trekkers.
The day from Namche Bazaar to Dole is hard, while the rest is easier, with not much elevation gain after Dole .
Gokyo Rii is fantastic , great views all around of Everest, Lhotse, Cho oyu,…
Cold in late afternoon and early in the morning as rooms in guest houses are not heated and dining rooms are not heated at that time. (especially in Dole)
Always sunny skies in the morning with great view and visibility of the summits around.
Lodges were generally good , however i would not recommend staying in Tok Tok, it is more quiet but lodge service was not good . Better to stay in Phadking with more choices of lodges.
Thanks to our guides Ganga and Aypure and to our porters for your dedication and flexibility in making our trek so enjoyable.

Utterly fantastic

Highly, highly recommend NMT! I’m delighted to say that Suman started as a guide and after a month of treks and trips in Nepal, ended as a friend. My wife and I landed in Kathmandu having done research but not booked anything and Suman took us through all the options and routes for various regions before joining us on two treks – one in Kathmandu valley and one on the Annapurna Circuit.

Suman was amazing to trek with, taught us some Nepali and even invited us to spend Christmas in his home with his family which was lovely.

I’ll be returning to Nepal and will be delighted to see Suman and the team again!

Best trip to Upper Mustang

I had one of my best trip ever to Upper Mustang. I met incredible people. It was well organized and we were lucky to have a very nice and professional guide Sabin. I can really recommend this trek especilly before it becomes too crowded. Enjoy the mesmerizing landscape different from other treks.

ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP TREK – the best trek we could have hoped for with Nepal Mountain Trekkers

We picked Nepal Mountain Trekkers to support us in doing Annapurna Base Camp Trek at the beginning of spring break because they came highly recommended and had the trip advisor ratings to back it up. It was our 12 year old son’s first experience trekking in the Himalayas and we wanted someone we could trust. It proved to be a good decision because the day we left Pokhara he was really sick with a gastro issue. We set out anyway hoping he would recover. Without the support of the NMT team I don’t think we would have made it through the first few days. Our guide and porters were flexible and helpful in adapting our plans based on how things were going, his health, the weather etc. As a result of some good decisions we had the most amazing trekking experience, full of beauty, peace, challenge, fun and laughter. Just the best we could have hoped for. After we got back, there were some other things we wanted to do in Sarangot, Chitwan and Nagarkot. They advised us and helped us find and organize the rest of the trip at relatively little cost. We are already thinking about our next trip and it’s a no brainer for us to work with these guys again. A quick side note is that soon all trekkers will need a guide. There is a big difference between guys that you can trust and some of the other companies out there that might take advantage of you. Not saying there aren’t other good ones but just that there are some that think more about the money, than your welfare and what you need to have the best time possible.

Solid trustworthy trekking company with strong management and a great team

Trekked ABC trek using Nepal Mountain trekkers. From initial discussions, the organization was made easy. They listened to what we wanted and also helped to arrange everything from flights to airport pickups and city tours for no cost (city guide was a charge). They are super knowledgeable, trustworthy and go above and beyond to give you a great trek. The team (guide and 2 porters) were excellent. Dependable, helpful, fun to be with (dancing, singing, would play cards in evenings with us) but would work so hard all the time to make sure you were comfortable and happy. Highly recommended. Management team work hard for the community and their clients. Above all they care. Thank you to the wonderful team.

Flexible and capable, great experience

My wife and I arranged a Mera Peak – Amphu Lapsa loop with NMT. The weather was unusually cold with snow every day so we had to make substantial changes in the plan. NMT was helpful, flexible and responsive to making the most of what we could get done. We’d definitely use NMT again.

Langtang Valley Trek– Incredible experience!

This is the third trek I’ve done with Nepal Mountain Trekkers and it was absolutely incredible, as always. Everyone at the trekking company is organized, friendly, and professional. Suman organized the trip for me and was my guide. He’s the absolute best. Not only did he figure out how we could do a 7 day trek in 4 days, he also was great company during the trek! He’s so knowledgeable about all of the treks and mountains in Nepal. He’s easy going and fun to be around!

Upper Mustang Trek

The agency organized a trek to Upper Mustang for us. We are impressed by the very good organization of the trip by the Nepal Mountain Trekker agency. Our guide was very professional, porters very helpfull, owners of the lodges very friendly. The Mustang area offers beautiful landscapes and very interesting Buddhist monasteries. We came back very happy and we are already planning our next trips to Nepal!

Unforgettable – Annapurna Circuit Trek

I had the pleasure to spend 4 weeks in Nepal and this fantastic trip left me with so much colorful and inspiring memories which was clearly the merit of Ramesh and his amazing team. It is therefore not difficult to recommend Nepal Mountain Trekkers – from the first contact over a customized and detailed planning to an individual and heartfelt care onsite, everything was professional and 100% customer-oriented. I enjoyed every moment of my stay and had a wonderful time with my guide Sansib (Min) and my porter Radjendra. They all bring in so much heart, passion and willingness to make your stay unforgettable and get prepared, they will become a part in your heart pretty soon. I miss their positive energy and relaxed manner to handle things!
