A truly amazing climbing experience and remarkable memories!
What’s the best way to trek in to Mera Peak? Only with Ramesh’s team! A lot of the success and enjoyment during the treck comes from good teamwork and communication and you can be sure that it won’t be missed. The treck is not technical but quite demanding but offering majestic views! Ramesh and his guides and porters are very knowledgable and get personally involved in the trips so you can be sure you are in good hands. They are fast, strong and trustworthy. Krishna, our guide turned out to be an excelent teacher as well and at the end of the trip I knew basic Nepali phrases! I am looking forward to continuing to hike/treck/climb with Ramesh and his team for as long as my itchy feet are able!!

Very Helpful!
We used Ramesh a couple times during our stay to book flights and buses within Nepal – he was very helpful and friendly! Efficient and professional, he was always happy to help and very easy to contact in case anything went wrong (it didn’t). He was attentive and proactive too – checking with us at every stage to see if arrangements had gone to plan. I’d recommend his services to anyone looking for an adventure in Nepal! Thanks!

10/10 would recommend!
I spent a month in Nepal and everything I did during that time was organised by Ramesh from NMT. Honestly, I have no idea what I would have done without him! Not only did he organise my trek to Everest Base Camp flawlessly, he also organised a home stay for me in the village he grew up in and a volunteer project at the local school. Both the trek and the volunteer project were amazing, life-changing experiences and were accommodated by my guide Manish Simkhada. He made sure everything was running smoothly, always looked out for me (especially when I had too much local wine) and was just an overall kind soul. It’s not easy to put up with me every day for an entire month but somehow he did it without complaint!
Thank you Ramesh and Manish for an amazing month and I will see you next time!
Oh and btw, I highly recommend doing some volunteer teaching at the school. The kids are super lovely and it is a very rewarding and eye-opening experience. Village life was simple and incredibly calming – away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu.

Fantastic vacation – custom-made with trekking and sightseeing
At first we were just looking for a short, easy trekking tour near Kathmandu and found the Helambu Cultural Trek on the Internet. We felt well advised by Ramesh Dhakal and booked then the entire vacation with Nepal Mountain Trekkers. In addition to city tours through Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur, we also made a round trip in a jeep through other places around the Kathmandu valley. Our guide Min accompanied us all the time (14 days) and informed us very competently about the history and present of Nepal and also made us aware of many local details. We spent a fantastic vacation and loved the country and its people. Thank you so much, we will never forget our Nepal experience!
