Sesational 16-day trek
NepalMountainTrekkers has enabled us to do a sensational 16-day trek “Nar-Phu-Valley – Kang-La Pass – Tilicho Lake – Thorung-La Pass”. The coordination and support, starting with the route planning from home, through the implementation to the final dinner at the end, was unprecedentedly positive. With Ramesh, the owner, we put together an individual tour – there were two of us – according to our needs.
Arriving in Kathmandu, Suman welcomed us in a friendly way and set us up for the tour in terms of organisation. Our guide on the trek was TB Ghale – highly professional, empathetic, likeable and in a good mood and always attentive to our needs and current constitution. He has given us the necessary security at all times – “take your time/ stay hydrated/ you make it/ didi and dai” – has carried us over the passes.
With his good knowledge of the local area and his access to the population, we were able to gain many and deep impressions of the culture. Not to forget our Porter Sunil, without which we could not have mastered this trek.
The triple AAA rating for the agency and all the mentioned actors is more than deserved! Last but not least, the very good value for money and the not often found attitude that less the financial maximum counts, rather the fun of togetherness and the unreservedly positive memory of everything.

Unforgettable Trekkingtour in Nepal!:)
This November I did the Annapurna Circuit Trek with the side trip to Tilicho Lake with Nepal Mountain Trekkers.
The organization was very personal, familiar and flexible, and I always felt well supported.
My guide Srijan was professional, kind and very knowledgeable, and shared a lot about the local culture and daily life. He always made sure I was safe and comfortable.
I especially appreciated the close contact with locals and the small villages, which made the trek feel very special.
Everything was handled smoothly, even when plans needed to be adjusted. The landscapes and mountains were breathtaking and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I miss it a lot already!
I can highly recommend Nepal Mountain Trekkers and would gladly trek with them again.

Highly recommend Nepal Mountain Trekkers for a hiking trek
We planned a 21-day trek with Nepal Mountain Trekkers up the Rolwaling Valley, over the Tashi Lapcha Pass, and down through the Khumbu Valley. Even though our trip got cut short because of a large storm, I can’t say enough good things about Nepal Mountain Trekkers. From the minute we walked out of the Kathmandu airport, NMT took care of every aspect of our trek. Suman and a driver were waiting for us at the airport, our hotel arrangements were all set, and we were able to relax after a long flight. NMT helped us get all the rental items we needed for the trek and made sure all of our luggage was where it needed to be. Everyone we interacted from NMT was willing to do whatever they could to make our trek as good as possible. All of our lodging, food, and camping for the trek was taken care of, and we were able to relax and enjoy the experience. After we were forced to turn around because of bad weather, NMT arranged our additional accommodations and transport back to Kathmandu. Once we were back in Kathmandu, NMT provided us with a guided tour of the city along with transport, even though this was not part of our original itinerary. NMT’s willingness to go above and beyond wherever possible makes them someone I would highly recommend for a hiking trek in Nepal.

Amazing first peak in Nepal
This was an amazing experience. Stunning landscapes, beautiful little towns, snow, rain, sun, cold, and even yes, hot weather. We had it all. Everyone at Nepal Mountain Trekkers were so helpful in every way and went out of their way to make sure this was an amazing trip for me. From setting up other sight seeing pre and post trip, to helping me rent some gear I did not bring, they took care of everything. Despite having one of those, “once every 30 year” storms and being stuck for a while due to too much snow, my guide Sudip was able to work with the team back in Kathmandu to readjust my schedule and still give us a shot at getting to the peak, which we did! In fact, we were some of the first up to the top after the massive storm. After that, Ramesh and Suman were able to change my flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu with no problem, even though Lukla was slammed with trekkers whose schedules had been interrupted due to the storm. If you want a great, friendly team who is willing to go the extra mile, even when circumstances change, I absolutely recommend these guys. Thank you to all of you who made this trip possible! I’ll be seeing you soon for my next adventure next year!

Nepal – 3 Passes Trek
The organization of the tour was exceptionally satisfying. From the friendly and perfectly coordinated email communication to the comprehensive tour information, as well as the smooth transfers and flights during the trip – the team handled everything so professionally that it would hardly have been possible with individual planning.
The highly committed, friendly, and excellently trained team of the guide and the porters provided us with the best possible conditions in every situation and also gave us many fascinating insights into the country and its people.

Everything was excellent. Our guide Shiva was openned for all our suggestions. We did additional trekking to ABC ( we planned only Mardi Himal and Muldai)

Totally recommend these guys. So well looked after from start to finish both before and duting the Poon Hill trek. Our guide Min and porter Suni were brilliant (and very patient with us being a bit slow!). Office staff were great too. Thank you all

I had an incredible adventure in the Himalayan mountains. We treked to Kyanjin Gompa and to Gosaikunda lake. The pre trip organising was very well done, no problems at all, easy to deal with, very helpful with all the answers to my questions. My Guide Srijan was extremely helpful and efficient and we became good mates, although he was beating me at Yatzee before long ! I was very happy with my trek and all the staff were very professional and efficient. I would highly recommend Nepal Mountain Trekkers and I fully intend to use them again. They are based at Green Horizon Hotel Thamel. Very comfortable, central and nice old world charm.
