Amazing Annapurna Trekking Experience!
I did the Annapurna Circuit in October/November 2018 and had an amazing time! Nepal is by far the most beautiful country I’ve traveled so far and Nepal Mountain Trekkers made this trip an even better experience! Krishna has been a perfect guide who did not only ensure my safety in the mountains but also taught me a lot about flora and fauna as well as country and culture!
I highly recommend him as a guide as well as the company, who puts great emphasis on travelers’ wellbeing and an authentic travel experience. A special thank you to Ramesh for his kindness and for organising the trip as well as to Krishna – I look forward to coming back to Nepal!

Fantastic trek in the Manaslu Conservation Area
An absolutely terrific trekking experience. We did a 12 day trek in the Manaslu conservation area in Oct 2018 organised by the always-smiling Ramesh at Nepal Mountain Trekkers, and led by our trusty guide Min (Sanjeep). Right from the start, Min took care of everything and gave us a tremendous and care-free two weeks in the mountains. It was my second trek with Min (having also done the Annpurna circuit in 2011) and like last time, his local knowledge, warm temperament and great organisational skills meant we had a hugely successful trip. He secured us accommodation in all villages, guided us through the acclimatization process and ensured we passed safely over the 5,100 Larka La High Pass. Our porter Sukman was also a delightful young man, and was well treated. Would not hesitate to recommend this agency.

Go with these guys!
Took a trip to Inner Dolpo with these guys and it was great! Everything they promised I got and they promised a lot. Ramesh is very knowledgable and easy to work with and his guide Krishna his porter Baljit were great travel companions. You could go with a big name company but why would you? Get personalized and trustworthy service with these guys. Plus, their hotel is in a perfect location: close enough to Thamel for convenience but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.

Trek personnalisé autour de Phu, Naar, Teri La pass et le mustang
Nous sommes entrés en contact grâce à la référence d’une personne que nous avions rencontrée en voyage. Nous avons alors parlé par courriel avec Prem, un des guides de la compagnie de Nepal Mountain Trekkers. Après avoir répondu à de nombreuses de nos questions, il nous a alors référé à Ramesh, le manager de l’entreprise. Ramesh, à son tour, a pris le temps de nous répondre et de tracer selon nos demandes notre trek qui sort des sentiers battus.
Ramesh possède un hôtel situé au même endroit que son bureau au plein milieu de Thamel, à Kathmandu et son équipe est venue nous chercher de l’aéroport.
Notre objectif était de voir à la fois la région de l’Annapurna et du Mustang. Donc, ce trek de 20 jours se déroula comme suit: quelques jours dans l’Annapurna autour de Naar et Phu, puis 4 jours de camping pour traverser le Teri La Pass qui nous a permis de traverser dans la région du Mustang. Notre guide, Krishna et notre porteur, DB, ont été à la hauteur de ce pass, qui n’est pas souvent emprunté et ont su être patient et débrouillard pour assurer notre sécurité et nous accompagner.
Ramesh appelait régulièrement Krishna pour avoir de nos nouvelles pendant le Trek, c’est aussi lui qui s’est assuré de nous avoir tous les permis requis et le transport adapté. il nous a mis rapidement en confiance et nous nous sentions à l’aise de lui partager nos craintes et nos demandes. Il nous avait également aidé pour le premier trek que nous avions fait sans guide dans la région de l’Everest pour le Three Passes Trek.
Lors de notre prochaine visite, nous n’hésiterons pas à retourner vers cette entreprise très humaine et professionnelle. Merci encore Ramesh et la prochaine certainement!

A wonderful challenge with a great company
Being the wrong side of 70 the only thing left on my bucket list was to see Mount Everest. I noticed that Nepal Mountain Trekkers did a trek up to the Hotel Everest View which was just what I wanted. Well. I chose the right company. Ramesh and his team are very experienced and they are also lovely people. Right from the outset Ramesh was brilliant. He planned my trek and always promptly answered all my questions. I was going to hire a duffel bag, sleeping bag and quilt jacket but they happened to have spares so lent me those. He couldn’t have done more to help. My guide Suman met me at the airport on arrival and nobody could have looked after me better during the whole experience. When plans went slightly awry ie. cancelled flights Suman was always able to come up with the best alternatives. He is a lovely man, he carried my bags all the way, and couldn’t have looked after me better. I’ve had a wonderful challenging experience and I thank Nepal Mountain Trekkers for it.

Weekend Tour of Nepal
Would highly recommend Ramesh and his team to anyone. Actually me and my friends have just passed on his details to a group of friends who are hoping to go to Nepal soon. As 3 young ladies, we felt extremely safe and comfortable with Ramesh, our tour guide Min and our driver. We were picked up from the airport with welcoming flower chains, brought to our hotel and begin our trip. Our tout guide Min was very accommodating and often gave us time to nap as we had very early starts especially after the mountain flight. Ramesh organised our whole trip from start to finish, and did an amazing job. We really got to see a lot of the culture and heritage of Nepal, but yet had our own free time in the evenings. Ramesh organised our accommodation, tours, mountain flight etc. We also were treated to a lovely lunch all together on our last day which was a very kind gesture. Our only regret is that we didnt have longer in Nepal, we really enjoyed ourselves. Would love to come back and plan a trek next time. Thank you so much Ramesh and Min
