Great Trip to Manaslu Circuit with Tsum Valley

We traveled the Manaslu Circuit and the Tsum Valley with Nepal Mountain Trekkers – an unforgettable experience! The planning beforehand was excellent, and the entire service during the tour was professional, friendly, and perfectly organized. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and led us safely and with great knowledge through the impressive landscape. We felt well looked after at all times. We definitely recommend them – we would book with Nepal Mountain Trekkers again anytime!

Poonhilltrek

I already planned my trip last year. I wanted to hike alone without a group only with guide and porter, at my pace. On the net I came across Nepal Mountain Trekkers and they offered just that. I decided to do a moderate tour due to a knee injury. Der Everest Culture Sherpa Tour. All questions were answered reliably and quickly by e-mail and my tour was adapted according to my travel time and wishes.

Despite the great efforts of my guide Sujan, the flight to Lukla did not work out due to bad weather conditions and so we decided to go for the Poonhilltrek. Was a suggestion of the agency, flight and everything else was organized immediately without any problems. Throughout the trek I was superbly looked after, rebuked and looked after by Sujan and the Porter Bibi. The food was always excellent, the accommodations selected by Sujan flawless. Sujan, realizing with his calm, friendly manner when it was time for a break (he would have easily made the trek in half the time), answered my many questions competently and always preceded with cheerful buzzes. Even though they were always there somehow, they gave me time for myself.

On the Poonhill itself we had no visibility (but a good coffee) but we were later rewarded with a spectacular view of Anapurna, fishtail etc. and had a really good time. I didn’t miss anything except a murder muscle soreness from the descent.😃

I can highly recommend the agency and will definitely come back to go my originally planned trek, then hopefully again with Sujan.

A big thank you to the Nepal Mountain Trekkers team with Ramesh, Suman, Sujan and Bibi.
Namaste and see you soon!🫶

Powerful experience – perfectly organized by Suman

My visit to Dakshinkali Temple was unforgettable. The atmosphere during the rituals is intense and spiritual. Suman organized everything flawlessly, and my guide Modnath was incredibly knowledgeable and made it possible to access and understand everything at the key spots. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a deeper cultural experience.

🇳🇵 Amazing Nepal 🇳🇵 sikles trek and more!

I used Nepal Mountain Trekkers for my solo March 2025 visit to Nepal. Suman, the Operations manager in Katmandhu, corresponded with me before I arrived to collaboratively design an itinerary that was exactly what I wanted– site seeing in Katmandhu, transportation to Pokhara and siteseeing there, a trek that would allow me to see the snow capped mountains in the distance but that focused on culture and wild spaces rather than high altitude (Sikles trek), and Chitwan National Park yo see wildlife. From beginning to end this trip was perfectly executed– airport pickups and drop offs, arranging local guides and accomodation, transport in between locations and of course the hiking guide, Siva, who was with me from Pokhara to all the beautiful villages on the trek and back to Pokhara. He skillfully guided me on the trail and made sure all my needs were met in terms of clean delicious food (dal bhat every day! 😁) drinkable water and safe lodging. Siva is patient and kind and enjoys sharing his love of Nepal with visitors. I especially enjoyed the homestays we slept at along the way– authentic and genuine people and places– the real Nepal 🇳🇵! I didn’t see ONE other trekker along the Sikles hike which was just fine with me. It’s not a hike that sees many tourists because it isn’t high altitude but people are missing out because it was a delightful experience. I highly recommend Nepal Mountain Trekkers for trekking and experiencing the amazing country of Nepal! I am already thinking about my next visit and will use Nepal Mountain Trekkers again.

Nepal Mountain Trekkers can be relied on

We. two friends, have known the trekking agency for some time and had always had very good experiences so far, 2 years ago we were traveling in Mustang and this time in Langtang area. Our guide Krishna met our needs, was always prudent , encouraging and responsible. We felt in good hands at all times. An honest trekking agency you can count on.

My Experience with Nepal Mountain Trekkers

This year my friend and I took part in a special journey to Everest Base Camp. Thanks to Nepal Mountain Trekkers we were able to learn and grow through the difficult, peaceful, and happy times with the help of a team who truly cared about their clients. My friend and I are both 18-year-old girls who have never been on a trek before so it was important that we felt safe and secure to enjoy this adventure and make it to base camp. I recommend this company for your experience as they went above and beyond to deliver. Ramesh, the founder of this company is a selfless and very welcoming person who has crafted a team of amazing individuals. Nepal Mountain Trekkers is also an affordable company that caters to your needs. As a person with many allergies, I was walked through the foods I was able to eat and was assured that they would take care of this during my trek. Everest base camp was mentally and physically challenging at times, especially for beginners but once you complete your goal you learn how strong your mind is. You will look back with such a huge sense of pride and accomplishment. I hope you all go out of your comfort zone and make special memories that you can carry around with you!

Beyond the Trek, Upper Mustang

This review is long overdue for an organization that feels more like family than a polished machine of trekking guides and hospitality professionals. While others in my family have reviewed most of the technical aspects of our trip (5 stars across the board), I’ll focus on my personal experience.

Every visit to Nepal has been life-changing for me, but this one proved epically so. Trekking through Upper Mustang with my 67-year-old mother, my brother, and his daughters, aged 18 and 21, is a memory we’ll cherish forever.

Yes, our guide Min was everything a guide should be: professional, organized, safety-focused, timely, patient, and endlessly positive. He went above and beyond, no question, and I would have given him 5 stars without hesitation.

But Min is no ordinary guide. Min is your therapist, your personal trainer, your comic relief. He even tells you those little lies you need to hear when the truth feels impossible to handle (“Just one more little up, little down,” he’ll say with a wink). He walks silently beside you when you’re too winded to speak or your breath is stolen by beauty, and he stays just behind you—never far—when the inevitable tears fall, letting you have your space but always being there for you. Min understands that trekking is a deeply personal journey, and he somehow lets you experience it alone while still celebrating each step with you.

Min also cares deeply for his crew and makes sure they are safe. Get to know him, and you will learn he takes care of his family as well. His respect and knowledge for the places he shares with you is palpable every second you’re with him. After meeting him, I can’t imagine trekking with anyone else—and this is not my first trek.

As for my stay in Kathmandu, I actually extended my trip as soon as I arrived in Nepal and stayed an extra week after the trek. While my family returned home, I stayed with my new family at Hotel Green Horizon. They welcomed me into my favorite room and made sure I was safe, happy, and comfortable. The hot showers, working air conditioning, and quiet, peaceful vibe were exactly what I needed. Ramesh and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make me feel cared for—they’re just wonderful people.

If you’re reading this, stop searching. Make it easy on yourself. Book Min as your guide, let Ramesh handle the details, and get yourself to Nepal. You’ll thank them later—and, like me, you might just be inspired to write your first-ever TripAdvisor review.
